The Book of Enoch
The Book of Enoch was written by Enoch, Noah’s great grandfather. Enoch is mentioned in the Bible.
The Book of Enoch was an ancient best seller before it was lost to be rediscovered alongside the Dead Sea Scrolls the same year as the incident at Roswell. In the centuries immediately preceding and following the coming of Christ, this book was widely read and discussed, and its impact was tremendous.
Without question it is the most notable apocalyptical work outside the canonical Scriptures. Yet, with all the incredible mysteries, this book remained neglected for more than 1,800 years, and continues to remain neglected, and even shunned, in the twenty-first century.
One very important piece of information in this book is that Enoch said that the fallen angels who came down from heaven to have sex with women, could take human form:
“When they wished, they made themselves look like men.” 7:17.1
“The spirits of the Angels who were promiscuous with women will stand here; and they, assuming many forms, made men unclean…” 7: 19.1
Enoch is listed in the Bible as the seventh of the ten patriarchs between Adam and Noah. He was the father of Methuselah, the man holding the world’s record for longevity (969).
The most remarkable fact of all is that Enoch did not die – ‘Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him’. He is one of the only two men mentioned in the Bible who were translated to Heaven without tasting death.
