Zedekiah’s Cave
Portal to The Ark of the Covenant
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Galatians Chapter 6:7-8

From ArkDiscovery.com
A few years before Ron Wyatt died, Jewish leaders sent six men, who were descendants of the tribe of Levi, into Zedekiah’s Cave and into the 375′ tunnel which leads to the cave containing the Ark. Their motive was to remove the Ark and destroy Christ’s blood to begin their own sacrifices. After traveling 75 ft. through the tunnel, all were killed by angels guarding the ark.
These men were in communication with others in Zedekiah’s cave who were waiting for them. They refused to enter the tunnel to check on the men, as they had heard terrible cries from the dying men over two-way radios. Mr. Wyatt was asked by the Israel Antiquities Authority to retrieve the bodies. God is protecting the Ark to be a witness of His Son and will not allow men to interfere.
———-
From ArkDiscovery.com:
Ron Wyatt originally found the Ark of the Covenant by digging in the area of the Garden Tomb, and found the Ark by cutting through rock and using tunnels that had anciently been created by water erosion.
Once in the cave which housed the Ark, Ron noticed an entrance heading in a different direction from that which Ron had entered. He theorized that the Ark had originally been brought to the cave through that entrance, then it was sealed by stones. Ron noticed on maps of Zedekiah’s Cave, how it stretched out for 750 feet, including the direction of the Garden Tomb. Ron then began searching in Zedekiah’s Cave for the original route by which Jeremiah had taken the Ark to its secret hiding place.
Reasons to Believe
Ron Wyatt DID find the Ark of the Covenant
by Kevin Fisher
1. We have clearly seen that Ron was used by God to uncover the other discoveries, Noah’s Ark, Sodom & Gomorrah, Red Sea Crossing, and Mt. Sinai. From these discoveries, Ron Wyatt’s credibility was established. We know God was using him because he was faithful to the Lord and was chosen to do this work. We should believe him when he said he found the ark. His credibility says we should.
2. Some have said, “Well, God did use Ron on the other discoveries, but he lied about the ark.” If that were true, then Ron would have been out of the will of God in January 1982, when he said he found it. But that is not true. God was still using Ron, because in 1989, he found the Sodom and Gomorrah sites. Ron was still in the Lord’s will after having claimed to have found the ark.
3. If Ron lied about finding the ark and was a fraud, why did he spend $100,000+, in digging a second tunnel to the cave chamber? If you are a wicked fraud, all you need is one tunnel to the cave and you can tell your hateful lies. But Ron felt that some of the temple furniture was to come out and thus a more direct and wider tunnel was needed. He worked on this second tunnel with volunteers from 1982 to 1989. A huge sacrifice and hard work.
A friend of mine worked on the dig with Ron for 3 weeks and he said Ron spent $7,000.00 advancing the tunnel about six to seven feet during that time. Ron also paid for my friend’s airline ticket to Israel. After finishing the tunnel Ron understood that none of the furniture would be coming out as God arranged the furniture as if it is a permanent set-up.
4. To say that God used this good Christian man, performing miracles along the way to help Ron, and using this one person on the other discoveries, and to then say that Ron lied about finding the ark is totally inconsistent. We see a faithful Christian used by the Lord, but we say he was a huge liar in saying he found the Ark? That is just not consistent with his character and how God used Ron. Common sense says Ron told the truth all through the discoveries and was God’s servant.
5. The ark has to be found. Daniel 9:24 says the Most Holy was to be anointed and put an end to sin, bring in everlasting righteousness, and atone for iniquity. The western side of the ark was left vacant, awaiting the application of Christ’s blood. When did that blood meet the Mercy Seat? How did this happen?
Ron’s testimony makes perfect sense and was arranged by God. Ideally if the Jews had accepted Christ, Jesus would have offered Himself one day, on the Passover, and His blood would be taken into the Most Holy Place to be applied on the western side of the Mercy Seat.
But the Jews rebelled and God made an alternate plan where Christ at His crucifixion would anoint the Most Holy… and this He did. If I were to vote on the most likely person to find the ark, I would vote on Ron Wyatt since the Lord revealed all the other discoveries through him. Makes sense.
6. Some say, “Well, we have to have two or three witnesses to believe.” In this case that is not true. We are talking about the Most Holy Place on earth. That cave is the Most Holy Place on earth and is not a tourist attraction for many people to enter. Ron never allowed his family or tunnel workers on the digs to peer into the cave. Ron protected it as a Holy Place.
In Moses’ day, the Most Holy Place was entered only once a year by the High Priest where he would meet God who was hovering over the ark in the form of a light, the shikinah glory, and would sometimes speak to the priest. Did the High Priest bring in other witnesses so the congregation would believe him? No. Did he take in other eyewitnesses or did the people believe him? They believed him.
The High Priest was believed by the people as his credibility was previously established and the people recognized that only one eyewitness was necessary. Can we follow this direction today and understand that Ron Wyatt’s credibility was established and that only one person was to enter that cave, the Most Holy Place. Ron preserved the sanctity of that cave by keeping others out. We should be thankful that he did so.
7. Satan wishes that we would not believe and would not spread the word of Jesus’ unique blood and the Ten Commandments being found. Let’s not fall for his temptations and be deceived. Logic says we can believe Ron Wyatt and God’s plan for the ark.

Henry Gruver
Michael Rood said he had seen a video about Ron Wyatt’s discovery of the ark that amazed him. And then he subsequently spent a weekend with Henry Gruver, a man who has worked and ministered for the Lord in over 70 countries around the world, and who knew Ron Wyatt. Henry’s testimony about Ron Wyatt persuaded Michael that he had to meet Ron in person. He had to know if Ron was a liar or a man who tells the truth.
So Michael sold the last of his worldly possessions, in order to make the trip to visit Ron at his home, and spent a week with him. This is how Michael could personally vouch for Ron’s character.
Henry Gruver’s Testimony about the testing of Christ’s blood
Around 1990 in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGBMF), Southwest Regional Convention, I was at the table when Demos Shakarian, founder of the FGBMF, arrived. Demos had assembled a special meeting with Ron Wyatt. An attorney and a document specialist were present. The purpose of the meeting was to validate the certificates he had received from the laboratories, proving the authenticity of the samples taken from his discoveries.
Ron had with him a blue, three-ring binder containing those certificates in plastic document protectors. It included certificates from six labs – three in the USA, one in Jerusalem, one in Germany, and other certificates of his lab testing throughout the years.
One of the lab result certificates pertained to the chromosomes of the dried blood Ron discovered in the cave beneath the cross holes that had flowed down onto the ark of the covenant. Another lab result pertained to Ron’s discovery of Noah’s ark, and confirmed that the specimen was in fact a piece of “petrified, laminated wood” with “rosins” in between, which are “presently unknown to man.”
When Ron opened his blue, three-ring binder, the document specialist asked for permission to remove the certificates from their plastic folders. Ron reluctantly granted permission to remove them from the document protectors, as long as he didn’t tamper with the documents or perform ink tests on the signatures.
The man removed them from the plastic and looked at each certificate carefully. He had a very large, thick book with him that was eight by eleven inches and about six inches thick. In it he had brought with him the names and data for all the labs in the countries where Ron had lab tests done. He was able to look up each lab in his book, as well as the record numbers. He had all the signatures in his book, and compared them with the ones on the certificates. He was also able to validate the record numbers from each certificate. He looked at each signature with a magnifying glass like a jeweler uses.
When he finished examining each one carefully, he said, “I would verify the authenticity of these documents to the top court in this land.” And he was a registered document specialist in the nation at that time.
Demos Shakarian just smiled when he heard that, and then he invited Ron to be the keynote speaker at the upcoming meeting of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship. But Demos wanted me to give my testimony of meeting Ron Wyatt for the first time in Jerusalem, and then introduce Mr. Wyatt at the convention.
I got to know Ron over the years. In fact, I traveled with him in Turkey, the Middle East, and the United States. Ron would never take any of the credit for his amazing discoveries. He always gave all the credit to Jesus Christ.
Ron once said, “If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can’t be saved.” He was not a Seventh Day Adventist, but he did adopt Friday night Shabbat services.
He was a thorough man. For example, one time in Kaddesh-barnea, it had just rained, and Ron discovered a stone the size of a goose egg, which had carvings in it. He told me to hold it, so I did. Ron then pulled out of the ground a stone that was smaller than a basketball, but bigger than a soccer ball. With his finger he cleared the dirt out an eyelet in the round stone.
He asked me if I knew what I was holding, and I could only guess it might be a boat anchor. Then Ron told me to observe the cuttings in the stone. They were the same as the one I had in my hand, except mine was smaller.
Ron explained that it was a tent anchor carved by the Hebrews during their 40 years journey in the wilderness. He said, “This helps me track the wandering of the Hebrew people through the wilderness.” He then noted the date and exact time he found the tent anchors, the longitude and the latitude where they were standing, and a description of the stones. He was very thorough, and he was consistently like that all the time.
He had earned the respect of the Israeli Antiquities department. In 1985 his excavation permit expired, but he needed to renew it, so that he could continue the archaeological dig, and get into the room containing the ark. When his permit had expired, he took his crew to Ashkelon swimming.
In the water, Ron stepped on a smooth object. So he went under the water and pulled it up. It was a vase! So he went back under the water and discovered many other vases. He registered this discovery with the Antiquities department. When they looked into it, they found that this was the ancient burial site of the Philistine fish god. This fish god had the head of a fish and the body of a man. And the vases contained bones and artifacts that verified the time of the dynasty of the Philistines.
The head of the Antiquities department had these examined, and due to this miraculous discovery, Ron was given a permit to continue the dig for the ark. He was able to get back into the cave, where he discovered the ark.
I have no doubt Ron discovered the ark, and that it’s down there. I have Ron on video telling the details of the ark discovery. In fact, I have around 40 videos of him. In fact, the Lord spoke to me in prayer years ago about this through Psalm 85. He said, “Truth shall spring out of the earth.” In G-d’s timing, that ark will be found again.

Eyewitness Testimony About a Video Shot in
the Ark of the Covenant Cave (See above simulation image)
by Ian Thain
This may be an appropriate time to mention publicly that I and several other Christians have watched with our own eyes a video which Ron shot inside the cave before the furniture was re-arranged. The crack in the roof was clearly visible with the Blood still on it; the table was there in close-up, and many piles of skins. The Ark was there, but was covered by a brilliant white light which hid it from the camera as Ron panned around the cave.
To the best of my knowledge there is only one copy of it in existence, Ron’s original, and it’s not in America now. It’s in a safe place of the Lord’s own choosing to which I once took Aaron Sen, who has met the keeper but has not viewed the tape. I have twice asked the Lord if I should go and get the tape for the purpose of making copies or DVDs (it’s not in my personal keeping) and each time I was given the same answer from the Lord’s own mouth. “The tape stays where it is.”
I was an eye-witness of Ron’s tape of the inside of the cave. I wasn’t with him when he shot it, but I saw the tape not very long afterwards. I have never had any instruction from the Lord to keep silent about it in general. Indeed, Ron himself was keen that the tape should be seen widely. Events turned out otherwise however, and the last order I had from the Lord was not to remove it from its present safe location. That obviously precludes public discussion of where it is. But for what it’s worth I’m happy to answer any questions I can about the tape, and what I saw on it. I last viewed it some years ago and my visual memory is not great (I’m far better with words). However by the same token my visual imagination is pretty bad too, which is probably a good thing for this purpose.
My sole purpose in mentioning it here was to help strengthen the faith of some here whose confidence in Ron’s word may have been shaken by doubts.
1. How long is the video tape?
The section shot inside the cave was part of a longer tape, most of which contained other less dramatic stuff. I’d say there were several minutes’ of material shot inside the cave.
2. What quality is it? Shaky? Steady? On a tripod? In color?
Steady and in color. From what I can recall I’d say it was almost certainly shot using a tripod and a single camera light, which Ron moved about in between shots from one part of the cave to another so as to get pictures of the contents from different angles.
What type of lighting used? Good quality or poor? Grainy footage or clear?
Single light fixed to the camera. As Ron panned round the cave the light moved with the camera; off-centre the edges of the frame were quite dark. The tape was free from grain, but the colour balance was not great. I suppose it was NTSC (which in the days when I was a videotape engineer we used to say stood for ‘Never The Same Colour twice’). :)
3. Did you see any angels on the tape?
No.
4. Was there a time stamp on the tape itself that was displayed on the screen?
Not that I recall, there wasn’t.
5. How long ago did you see it?
Pass. That information might assist those who want to find the tape.
6. Have you ever talked to Ron about the tape? If so what did he say.
I never talked to him specifically about the tape. I did ask him questions about the Ark, about the tables of stone, and about the book of the law. I assumed at the time that everybody who knew anything of Ron’s work had seen this tape along with all his other material. It was only when Bill Fry intercepted a post of mine to this list that I realised that this was not so. Even Bill hadn’t seen it.
7. The person(s) who have the tape are they waiting for the right time to release it? Did Ron give it to him/her/them or what’s the reason for them holding it back.
Same answer as that to question 5 I’m afraid. Sorry.
8. From your perspective is this the tape where Ron took out the tables of stone? Was this before or after that event if it’s not the same footage.
No. It’s an earlier tape. Neither Ron nor the tables appeared on the tape I saw.
9. How many people were with you when you viewed it and where did this occur? Australia?
Only one person viewed it simultaneously with me, but several others had seen it just a few days previously. One has since gone to be with the Lord, but the others are still alive. The country name is under wraps, as per Q5.
10. Does Ron say anything on the tape? If so what does he say?
No. Ron was the cameraman, but he didn’t appear in front of the camera, and I don’t recall his giving any verbal commentary on the sequence inside the cave.
11. What does the Table of Showbread look like?
To be honest it looked dark bronze, but I suppose that was the effect of the camera light which probably had a predominantly blue spectrum. The table was rectangular and had a raised decorative border a few inches high running all around the top, with what I took to be cast pomegranates at regular intervals. The cave sequence opened with a close-up shot of one corner of the table, showing some fine workmanship in its making.
12. Did you see the 7 branch candlestick and if so what did it look like?
No. I was consciously looking for it, but I didn’t see it. (Everybody asks this question! It’s the most popular question after the Ark itself).
13. You said you saw the skins piled up in a corner?
They weren’t piled in a corner; they were heaped everywhere, all over the floor and everything else. Lots of them.
What conditions were they in?
I don’t recall any close-ups of the coverings, but the general impression was one of grey dustiness. They were folded up as you would fold a lot of blankets, and some were obviously covering large objects underneath. The menorah may have been on its side under them.
14. Did you see any other object in the cave and if so what were they?
At the time I thought that this tape was going on general release and that I’d be getting a copy sometime, so I didn’t make any mental notes.
But I do remember seeing the stone box in which the Ark had been stored, with its lid moved to one side. I have a feeling that Goliath’s sword was there, but I have no particular mental image of it; just that we discussed it between ourselves, and the reason for our discussing it was probably that it was in there.
Of course the dominant feature was the Ark itself, and the fact that it was hidden by a brilliant white light. As Ron panned the camera around, a circle of light moved across the field of view until it filled the whole screen, then it moved off again at the other edge. Ron’s verbal account of this was that the effect was only on the tape; no such light was visible to him inside the cave where he saw the Ark plainly. It was only when he viewed the tape afterwards that he saw that the light had covered the Ark for the purpose of the recording.
The other notable feature was the crack in the roof of the cave with the dark stain of blood on one side of it, about the size of one’s hand I should think. (The roof was not high; a man would probably have had to stoop to avoid hitting his head).
Seeing the blood there was the most moving thing to me.
I think if the Lord had wanted somebody to give a detailed account of the tape He would have chosen somebody other than me to see it! My powers of visual observation and retention are famously bad. My principal contribution to this debate is simply that I can testify to having seen that tape, that it showed exactly what Ron said it did, and that I was awed at what I saw.
I think we all were.

More questions and answers from Ian Thain
1. Did the table of showbread have just one shelf (top one) or any below it too?
I only remember seeing the top surface, and not much below it. I think it was perhaps partially covered by skins, but it was quite a while ago and as I mentioned earlier my visual memory is really terrible.
2. How close to the ceiling was the ark of the covenant stone case?
Very close. I remember being rather surprised at how low the roof was. I can’t give you any meaningful estimate of the exact distance – I’d have to view the tape again to do that – but my memory is that it was about enough to crawl into and not much more.
3. Was the chamber cleared out? Like was Ron shooting the video from the floor of the chamber or was he standing on stones or what? You said he was close to the ceiling any thoughts on how close?
The chamber was certainly not cleared out. In fact apart from things like the lid of the stone box, it looked as though nobody had been in there for centuries. As I suppose they hadn’t. The place looked like a lumber room, with things everywhere all over the floor, and of course all those heaps of skins, so that you would have to clamber over one thing to look at the next. Ron was about my height (6ft) and I reckon I’d have had to stoop in there, but I think the camera was a foot or more so below head height.
4. Was the stone case that held the ark in the middle of the chamber or up against one of the sides?
From the opening shot it was on the right hand side at the back, if the camera was central that is. But what with there being so many objects in there, only those in front of the camera being illuminated, and the light in front of the Ark dis-orienting things a bit, I couldn’t swear to it. However my memory is certainly that it wasn’t in the center of the cave; I think it was close to a wall at the back.
5. Did you see any openings into the chamber or the shape of the chamber?
No. Because of the limited lighting that wasn’t possible.
6. Did it look like Hi-8 video or something older?
Actually it didn’t look too bad, all things considered. It was a difficult situation for an amateur shoot. I was never into amateur video (I worked with B&W 1-inch tape on 12-inch reels) so I couldn’t guess which system it was. The picture quality seemed rather better than some of Ron’s other stuff though, so maybe he had taken particular care to get hold of a good camera.
7. Does the keeper of the video still have the tape?
I guess he certainly could, but ….. amazing as it sounds to us here, he has forgotten the cave sequence completely, as Aaron Sen and I discovered when we called upon him for the express purpose of having a look at it – in Aaron’s case for the first time.
Now in the context of our uneventful little lives, that sounds hard to believe; that anybody to whom these things mean so much could actually forget such a unique thing in his possession! This man is a Spirit-filled believer in the Lord, and is deeply appreciative of the significance of these matters. He supported Ron and contributed significantly to Ron’s work, so he isn’t ignorant.
But he is a man to whom strange, and sometimes dangerous, things just happen. The same was true of his father, so it runs in the family. I have sometimes said that, if and when World War Three breaks out, it will be six feet away from where this man happens to be standing at that moment; a bit like being the guy who happened to be standing next to Crown Prince Ferdinand when he was shot in 1914. This man has about a dozen of Ron’s tapes, but he has not sat down and catalogued them, and to do so would necessarily take up a fair bit of time.
His wife too is the CEO of a multi-million dollar business. I hope I have given you something of the picture. People like this do not sit about in the evenings flicking through the TV channels. They live very full, and sometimes dangerous, lives.
But for all that, it would be hard to think of a more suitable man to be keeper of something like this. He is completely fearless; and he is very well aware of what is going on in the world behind the scenes. His friends and contacts are too.

Comments by the people who originally hosted the article:
Some may be skeptical of Ian’s testimony, but the very fact that he would bring someone to the keeper’s home to see the video is evidence that he is telling us the truth. Aaron said the keeper has forgotten other things also, so one could expect him to have also forgotten about the video.
Just the fact that Ron was building a second tunnel for the ark is evidence he was telling the truth, (for if you are a liar, you only need one tunnel and don’t need to spend $100,000.00 on a second tunnel), so it is true that by Ian bringing Aaron is evidence he was revisiting the video to see it again and is telling us the truth here today.

A Scientist Analyzes Mr. Wyatt’s Chromosome Theory
Dr. Eugene Dunkley, Geneticist
August 1999, England
In regards to the statements made by Ron Wyatt and his chromosomal analysis: I do not believe that any of Ron’s findings or conclusions will affect the Seventh Day Adventists or their faith. I don’t believe that he had a crusade against the denomination or any denomination for that matter.
Re his findings-you must remember that Ron was not a scientist, he was an anesthetist. This is not to excuse mistakes in his details, but to understand more accurately where he was coming from. I sat with Ron and Derek at D’s house in Oxford and Ron explained to me what was done. I filled in the details in my own mind, knowing that there were holes in what he said, but not done to deceive, just a lack of knowledge.
Karyotypes are performed all the time. It is a technique in which the chromosomes are arrested in metaphase by a drug and then stained with either Giemsa or a reverse stain, and then in this stage are separated and counted and characterized. There is also a banding pattern associated with each chromosome pair so that identification of the chromosome is unmistakable.
White blood cells are the only blood cells that can be used for such an “experiment”. Russell’s criticism is inaccurate because he omitted what would have had to happen for the experiment to take place. First, the blood sample was scrapped from the altar. The cells were resuspended in PBS (a buffer), which allowed the cells to re-hydrate. Then, the cells were cultured.
Only cells with DNA would be able to grow in culture, so there is no need to “separate” red blood cells, platelets, etc., because they simply wouldn’t be present in a freshly growing culture. These cells were simply white blood cells in culture (a routine procedure). Next, the cells (or some of them) would be taken, arrested when the cells were in metaphase (when the chromosome condense and are visible by microscopy) and stained. Some of the stains allow light microscopy, but others allow fluorescent microscopy. I imagine that Ron didn’t know one type of microcope from another; he could use an electron microscope to see the chromosomes, but certainly not to count them or characterize them. However, that would not detract from the finding. The karyotype would have been made, and the chromosomes placed in their proper pairs.
Ron was convinced that the blood of the altar was in fact the divine blood of Jesus because the chromosome count was 24. If Jesus was only human we would expect 46. In fact, if he found 46 chromosomes I would have my doubts because the argument would be that it was simply the blood of a human being (except of course that the white blood cells were re-vitalized after almost 2000 years….). Russell is wrong about the frequency of chromosomal diseases in humans: a number of conditions involving either 47 or 45 chromosomes have been well characterized, besides Turner’s, such as Klinefelters, Down’s syndrome, Pateau’s syndrome, Cri-de-Chat syndrome, XYY, XXY, etc. and in fact there was a case in which a young man was found alive with only 24 chromosomes.
You must remember that Ron’s inaccuracies in describing this finding are due to the fact that he did not personally do the experiments or prepare the cells, because it is not his field of expertise. He simply got the data and presented it with the understanding that he had. Russell may be correct about other aspects of the research (I am not an archaeologist), but he himself is not accurate about the cells and the chromosomes, and his critique suggests that he is being subjective.
Of course, I only have the description of what Ron said to me, so I too have no hard data. However, if there is a need to explain this data I would be happy to do so in defense of the findings. In fact, there are several more experiments that could be done to further prove what Ron stated. However, I do not believe that they would be necessary, and in fact would cause a few problems (especially in this age of cloning, one would conceivably want to clone the divine chromosome and modify themselves).
I do remember that Ron was reluctant to say anything about the finding, but he felt moved during his talk at our church, having met with me earlier, to say what he had found. He knew that I would have some knowledge of the field, and if in fact he thought it was dodgy he would not have said anything because he knew that I would be one of the few people able to pick it apart. He said it in his sermon knowing that I would understand it, and I feel to this day that God moved on him to do so that the finding would be spoken of and would stand the test. This convinces me that Ron is right….

Ark of the Covenant Update
May 16, 2000
by Bill Fry
Approximately 6 weeks after I began to write this update in June 1999, Ron Wyatt died in a Memphis hospital from colon cancer. I had promised Ron that I would not post this update until he had a chance to review it for accuracy. To insure that accuracy, Ron allowed me to record our phone conversation as he told me the story and as I asked specific questions.
I must say now that I will not be making this tape available publicly. So please, don’t ask. The reason is that this conversation was taped during the last weeks of Ron Wyatt’s life and it is very apparent that he was in quite a bit of pain during portions of our conversation. Because of that I don’t like listening to the tape, even to this day. Therefore, out of respect for Ron, I will not be making the tape available to anyone. There are no details on the tape that are not covered in the update.
Unfortunately, before I was able to finish writing the update Ron became very sick and was never able to review what I had written. However, the audio tape testifies to the accuracy of this update; that I wrote only those things that Ron passed on to me. I have added a few minor details to the story from information that Ron has passed on publicly at various times and places but the main points of the story comes directly from our taped conversation.
Since his death, I have not known exactly how to proceed in sharing this information. I counseled with a number of people about this and finally decided that I would not share it until I was impressed that the time was right. It is for that reason that I now share with you the experience that Ron Wyatt had in the Ark of the Covenant chamber.
Over the last couple of years there have been stories circulating about an encounter that Ron Wyatt was supposed to have had with an angel. According to the stories he was given instructions about the Ark of the Covenant, when it would be revealed, and exactly how he was to proceed with his work on the discovery. I have personally had several different versions of these stories sent to me with requests that we confirm or deny them. These people go on to to insist that if they are true that we post them so that all can have access to this information. To date none of the stories that have been sent to me are complete or accurate.
After I explained the situation to Ron in June of 1999, he made the decision to have me write out the actual event as he had twice related it to me and then post it on our web site so that the inaccuracies of the other versions could be corrected. He felt that it was better to tell the story himself rather than allow different versions to circulate with none of them being completely accurate.
As you read this account of Ron’s encounter inside the chamber where the Ark of the Covenant is located, please remember that what is being related is an event that has a number of supernatural aspects to it. We understand that this may create an opportunity for some people to mock and ridicule, but we feel that this is better than allowing bad information to continue to circulate and confuse people.
When Ron originally began his excavation at the Calvary escarpment in 1979, he began at the place his hand had pointed to during his encounter with the Israeli Antiquities representative. It is important to understand that Ron was searching only for the Ark of the Covenant. Searching for and finding the crucifixion site was not in his thoughts until it became apparent from the evidence at hand that this was what they had found.
From that point they did months of digging and tunneling along the escarpment wall looking for an opening into some type of cave or tunnel. After praying about the matter Ron was impressed to break through the escarpment wall at a spot near the crucifixion site and thus enter the tunnel system that honeycombs that portion of Mt. Moriah. When he did this he found himself in a series of tunnels that it took many months to explore. During that process he finally found his way into the chamber where the Ark of the Covenant was hidden.
When Ron first entered the chamber it contained a number of items including some of the furnishings from the first temple which were covered with animal skins, wood and then stones stacked on top of them to about 18 inches from the ceiling. For this reason the only way he could move around within the chamber was to crawl on either his back or his stomach.
At the far end of the chamber was a stone case with a broken lid whose top was only a few inches from the ceiling. This prevented him from seeing the Ark on his first visit to the chamber but it helped him notice the crack in the ceiling and the brown substance (the blood) which was directly above the stone case. He assumed and later confirmed that this stone case contained the Ark.
On his later visits to the chamber he tried with several different types of still and video cameras to get a clear picture of the Ark. But each time the pictures came out either “washed out” or blurred beyond use. This was a source of great frustration and embarrassment for Ron; to not be able to produce one clear picture of this wonderful discovery. On his fourth visit into the chamber he took with him an 8mm video camera and tripod, determined to finally get a clear shot of the Ark.
As he entered through the same opening he had always used to access the chamber, he immediately recognized that something was very different. The rocks that were always there inhibiting his path were no longer in place. In fact he was able to enter the chamber and drop all the way to the floor.
At this point a light came on in the chamber, the source of which he cannot fully explain.
Ron then saw that the chamber had been completely cleared of all the rocks and debris, a task Ron had known would need to be done but which would take a long time to accomplish. But now the job was already completed! The chamber was completely clean with no sign of the any of the debris and the Ark of the Covenant was out of the stone case.
As you can imagine Ron was stunned by what he saw. The Ark had been placed against the eastern wall of the chamber directly underneath the crack in the ceiling where Christ’s blood had flowed onto the Mercy Seat. The other temple furnishings were set in their proper place relative to the Ark. The rest of the items were set off to one side.
A number of very important artifacts are there in that cave. In the back of the Ark is the “book” that Moses wrote – the first five books of the Bible. They are written on a leather scroll that is as fresh and supple as the day it was written!
Just as the shoe leather of the Israelites did not wear out in the desert, this leather has also remained in perfect condition and shows no deterioration.
Several other artifacts from the first temple are in that cave, including the table of shewbread, the seven-branched candlestick and a 5′ 2″ sword that most likely was Goliath’s sword!
Although he cannot explain how, the wall directly behind the Ark had the appearance of crystal and was glowing with the color pattern of a rainbow. It appeared to Ron that the rest of this crystalline wall was the source of the light which was illuminating the chamber.
As he was taking in the sight he suddenly realized that he was not alone in the chamber. Ron stated that he could “feel in his body that he was in the presence of angels.”
He saw that there were four young men in the chamber with him. They did not look like angels but appeared as young men dressed in normal “street clothing.” But Ron knew that they were angels. He stood there frozen for a few moments unable to move or even speak. He wanted to ask them what they were doing in there but he was not able to do so..”
Then one of the angels stepped forward (this is the only one of the four that would speak to him) and told Ron that they were the ones whose job it was to guard the Ark of the Covenant. They had done this since Moses had first placed the tables of stone in it.
He told him that God wanted people to see all of these things at a particular point in time. He then instructed Ron to set up his tripod and video camera in a certain place and turn it on.
Once Ron had done this the four angels went over to the Ark, lifted off the Mercy Seat and placed it beside the Ark. The angel that had spoken to him beckoned him forward and told him to take out the tables of stone.
Ron leaned over and picked up the ten commandment stones. He then backed away a few steps and the angels placed the Mercy Seat back on the Ark. After a few awkward moments the angel reached out and took the tables of stone from Ron, walked over to a niche in the chamber wall that looked like a shelf and placed them on it. This “shelf” was close to the original entrance that was used by those that had hidden the Ark there over 2500 years ago.
He then walked back over to Ron and told him two things. The first was that if Ron remained faithful, he would have a part in bringing out the tables of stone so that they might be put on display.
The second was that the Ark was not to be revealed to the world or the tables of stone put on display until shortly after a law was passed that would attempt to enforce the mark of the beast upon people.
Ron died on August 4, 1999, so the method that will involve his revealing the Ark of the Covenant to the world involves a video tape he left in the cave of himself, removing the Ten Commandments from the Ark. The entire world will see Ron Wyatt removing the Ten Commandments from inside the Ark.
“The second part of the angel’s comment “that the Ark was not to be revealed to the world or the tables of stone put on display until shortly after a law was passed that would attempt to enforce the mark of the beast upon people.” The angel said that the tables of stone would be put “on display SHORTLY AFTER a law was passed that would attempt to enforce the mark of the beast upon people.”
Shortly there will follow a death decree against all true 10 Commandment keepers and the time described as the time of Jacob’s trouble would commence. This ends in the deliverance of the saints who refuse to receive the mark of the beast.
At that time the Special Resurrection will take place, where all those since 1844 who died keeping the third angel’s message (Rev. 14) will be raised from their graves with their immortal bodies. This would of necessity be after the time of Jacob’s trouble and at the time of the deliverance of the saints from the death penalty connected with the mark of the beast law.
When the time comes we will see the Ten Commandments removed from the Ark of the Covenant! Hopefully they will go on display and travel around the world like the King Tut Exhibit and you and I will get to actually see them in person! Ron says that they look as if someone wrote in soft butter with their finger and then turned them to stone!
After that encounter Ron gathered up his camera equipment and left the chamber through the original entrance. By following this tunnel he was able to find his way out of the cave system and back onto the street.
He immediately rushed to his hotel room where he played back the tape of the event. He had to see if the Ark, the angels and the tables of stone showed up clearly on the video. To his amazement everything showed up clearly. He was very excited. But suddenly his excitement turned to dread. He realized what he had in his hands, yet the angel had told him that these things were not to be revealed until the mark of the beast law was passed. What was he to do with this tape? It was undoubtedly the most important video ever recorded. Where would he put it? How would he keep it safe!?
Having no clear answer to these concerns, he finally decided that the best way to proceed was to go back to the chamber and ask the angel what he should do. He went back into the chamber and the four angels were there. The angel that spoke to him earlier stepped forward and asked him what he wanted. Ron told him that he did not have a safe place to keep the tape.
Then the angel reached out and took the tape from Ron’s hand. He walked over to the place where the tables of stone were still sitting on the niche in the chamber wall and placed the video tape on top of them. To the best of Ron’s knowledge that is where everything remains to this day.
While this was the extent of what the angel told him, Ron said that he came away from this experience knowing more than he had been told in words. He was strongly impressed that while the video he recorded in the chamber would be shared with the world and that the tables of stone on which God Himself had written His Law would be put on display, the Ark of the Covenant would remain in the chamber where it is.
It is on the basis of this information, plus his agreement with the Israeli authorities, that he acted as he did in withholding certain information about the Ark and its location.
Ron also stated that as far as he knows no one else has been in the chamber except himself. However, because he is not always there, it is possible that someone else has or could enter the chamber and see the Ark IF the angels guarding it would allow it. Otherwise, the way the tunnel system is in that area, no one would be able to find their way.
On this last point I need to share an experience. I visited the entrance into the tunnel system recently and found a number of men furiously digging in an area where they thought the entrance into the tunnel system was. I went over to them and explained that not only were they digging in the wrong place, they were digging in an area that had caved in a number of times and that Ron had back filled to keep people out.
Amazingly they told me that they had just recently prayed that God would send someone to tell them if they were doing the right thing or not. Because I showed up shortly after their prayer they took my counsel and stopped digging.
The point of my story is this. There are a number of people that think they know where the entrance into the tunnel system is. They are mistaken. The entrance does not require any digging or tunneling to get into today. Because of the sensitive nature of this information I cannot reveal where that location is but I can tell you that it is both dangerous and illegal to dig where these gentlemen were digging. They are fortunate that there was no accident or that they were not seen by the local authorities.
My appeal to everyone is that we allow God to do things on His timetable and not feel that we have a mandate to inject ourselves into the event. This is exactly what those six Jewish men who died in that tunnel were doing. I would hate to see a repeat of that.
God will deal with His things in His own time and in His own way. No one will miss this event. The time will come when all will be able to see the Ark, the blood and the tables of stone.
“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance PATIENCE……” 2 Peter 1:5,6

The Bible is not a game. It is not a toy. It is true. But, for the millions of unbelievers whose names are not written in the “Lambs Book of Life, Written before the foundation of the World”, the Bible is a nuisance and a hinderance to their ability to commit sin. Please don’t be one of them. Ask the Lord Yahushua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ) in to your heart and to be your boss and would He please tell you want He wants you to accomplish in this life.
